Welcome to Loreto Nedlands
Loreto Nedlands is a Catholic primary school that aims to help students to integrate culture, faith and life. Culture is valued and Loreto Nedlands promotes discussion and critical thought.
The values and attitudes at Loreto Nedlands are founded upon the teachings of Jesus Christ, the mission of Mary Ward and the Loreto Schools vision.
At Loreto Nedlands, whole education aims to achieve Mary Ward’s vision that the development of faith, based on the Gospels of Jesus Christ, allows each person to find God in the ordinary things of life.

Lest We Forget...
A very moving Remembrance Day Service was held on the 11th November. It was conducted by the Year 5 class. A wreath was placed to honour our fallen. Photos of the ceremony can be viewed HERE.
Loreto Athletics Carnival
The 2009 Loreto Athletics Carnival was held on 15th October and was a great success with all students participating and putting in a great effort. It was a glorious warm day and the carnival ran very smoothly thanks to Mr Boxsell's great organisation. Photos of this event can be viewed HERE.
Mary Ward 400 Years Mass
A Mass celebrating 400 years of Mary Ward's founding vision, courage and commitment to education and justice for the vulnerable was held at John XXIII College on Friday 22nd May. Photos of this memorable event can be viewed HERE.
First Eucharist
Children from Loreto Nedlands celebrated their First Eucharist at Holy Rosary Parish on Saturday June 14th. It was a beautiful Mass and the children looked wonderful on the day.
Speaker of the Year 2009
The Loreto Speaker of the Year was held on 19th May. It was a spectacular display of talent from year 5 and 6 students. A varied selection of topics were prsented and all participants were of an extremely high standard. Photos of the event can be seen by clicking HERE.
Mothers Day Mass
A wonderful Mothers Day Mass was celebrated in the Mary Ward courtyard on Friday 8th May. We were joined by over a hundred mothers and grandmothers. The mass was organised and presented by Mrs DiBiaggio and the Year 2 class.
Easter Liturgies
Children from all classes presented Easter Liturgies to celebrate the Holy Season.

Dancing with Loreto
A sensational evening of dancing was held at John XXIII colllege with students from PP to year 6 displaying their skills. Photos of the event can be viewed HERE.
Senior Swim Carnival
The Loreto Senior Swim Carnival was held on Thursday 26th February. It was an exciting event. Photos of the evening can be viewed HERE.
Loreto Community Mass
A Community Mass was celebrated on Fri 20th February in the Mary Ward Courtyard to start our school year and also start our celebration of 400 years of the Vision of Mary Ward.
